I hear you on the challenge of losing weight at this age (I'm 40). I'm 3.5 yr pp with my second and I'm still not in the same place as my first, despite losing all of the baby weight right away (I put it on while nursing, so I went down, then put on like 5 lb of fat, which I know doesn't sound that bad, but it's driving me crazy because it will.not.move and seems to be getting worse). I've changed up my diet (way more protein and more calories) and workout (strength training focus, no HIIT, more walking/steps) after doing an HTMA test and finding out my body is in "burnout" (probably from the past 10 years of IVF, IVF complications, pregnancies, breastfeeding, pandemic). I felt/feel the same way as you, so know you're in good company. I'm glad your doctor took you seriously and hope the supplements help! What kind of hormone testing did you have done? Just blood tests? That's my next ask.
Hi! It's so hard, and no part of me needs to "go back" but I want to feel like myself, and I don't feel great in my body right now. My cholesterol is also not great, so I just want to be healthy. The doctor I'm seeing was an ER physician, and now runs a private practice to help people optimize their health. She looks at genetics, labs (hormones, organ function etc), and body composition. I hope that helps!
I hear you-it's feeling uncomfortable in my body. Hopefully your surgery has helped ease some of that! It's not a good feeling. I'm also not trying to compare myself to my pre-baby body because it's just different now and that's fine, though I am comparing myself to my post-first baby body and I probably shouldn't as it's still different (I needed a c-section with my second). That's great that you found someone who takes an overall view of someone's health instead of just managing diseases. Onward and upward!
Hi! Loving the holiday gift guides & holiday decor. Wondering if you have any suggestions for baby’s first Christmas ornament? I want to make it special & would love something personalized.

Hi! Radko has personalized options but this is my favorite by far.
