It’s a rainy and snowy day, and I’m making this sesame chicken tonight. When I started writing, Margot and I were in my bed. She’s made herself comfortable with this tray, her Tonies, and is coloring. But now I’m with Kate, who’s laying down next to me, napping on a fresh pillow because…pink eye. Blah.
Spring Break / Life Update
So our spring break was garbage. 😂 All 3 kids were sick. 2 had fevers, and as of this morning, 3/3 have ear infections and 2/3 have pink eye. We had a whole list of fun things we wanted to do over break, so it’s almost comical that we only left the house last Monday before the sickness began.
But everyone’s in pretty good spirits. We’ve watched a LOT of movies, the girls have been coloring with these pens and these notebooks.
PSA don’t give up and let your kids eat cheddar bunnies in your bed when they’re sick. I need a new duvet cover.
Our slow (sick) week wasn’t a total waste. I got a decent amount of work done since we just laid in my bed watching movies, and I made some progress on our Paris trip. I booked a scavenger hunt tour at the Louvre and have a call with The Petit Guide to help map our days out. I have a list places I’d like to go and a good sense of what to do each day, but I’ll be with a 5 year-old and I need some kid-friendly restaurants, so that’s where The Petit Guide comes in.
Links and sales
My wet/dry floor vacuum (the blue one) is $100 off. And I am not overshooting when I tell you that it will change your life.
Some of our favorite PJs are on sale
What’s new this week
I put this together and still can’t believe that everything is from Amazon.
I also shared one of my favorite clothing brands for the girls, and a bunch of pieces are on sale right now. Margot audibly gasped when she saw the ice cream dress (of course I bought it).
I shared my easy (10 min) cinnamon roll casserole. It’s so good and so easy to make! Not a baker? It uses pre-made cinnamon rolls. If you can cut, stir, and pour, you can make this one.
I decided to have a small first birthday party for Jack next weekend. Minimal decor and not much in the way of a theme, but just something to celebrate him since he’s our last baby, and you only turn one once. We’ll have a few close family friends together, get a little cake, and celebrate our boy. I can’t believe he’s going to be one!
