The last day of summer really felt like summer. It was so hot out, so took Jack into town. We went to the car wash and he loved watching the car drive through. That was something I remember loving as a kid, so that was fun. We went for a little walk, I took all 3 kids to my friend’s house, and we had dinner on our patio.
Last weekend, I took the girls to Tree House Humane Society’s Cat Cafe. We got to snuggle 3 of the cutest (adoptable) kittens, and leaving them was so hard for all 3 of us. If you’re in the Chicago area and are looking for a kitten, they have the most adorable little rescues.
And speaking of pets, I’ll have a code for Nom Nom (Buddy’s dog food) in IG stories on Monday. I switched him to this food when he was diagnosed with a heart murmur. I was told things should start to decline in 2 years. It’s been 6+ years and he’s still here! I attribute that to his diet.

I don’t know if it was the kids being home all summer or because this happens every few months, but I have some more organizing to do. It’s exhausting, and I’m not sure it’ll ever really be organized since my kids love holding on to papers and tiny things.
I started with the art cabinet which was just baskets full papers and misc. stuff. These file boxes are the perfect solution for coloring books, stickers, and notebooks, and this marker box (with removable cups) is great for organizing markers and pens by type. I still need to make custom labels for each file box, but this already feels so much better.
I want to do this to every cabinet, closet, and drawer in my home.
This probably won’t seem like a big deal but it’s big for me. I have a partnership due on the 27th and instead of waiting until next week to finish up, drove an hour away to film what I needed to film on Friday. I usually shoot sponsored content within a few days (or a day) before it’s due.
I updated my shopbop hearts, and found the prettiest camel coat for $188, and the most beautiful striped cardigan that’s identical to my Ba&sh one.
I also found a pair of leggings that I like more than my Aligns – they are somehow even softer and really hold everything in without feeling too tight. Left on Friday sent these to me but I love them and am planning to buy more. And I just bought these retro Vince sneakers – they are so cute and comfortable!
It’s not cool enough to wear this but it’s a tank so I made it work and wore it with jeans. It’s so cute, and would be great over a button up, too.
You can still get 25% off and free shipping on my favorite bra with code MOSSFS25
Tula has become a favorite clean beauty brand, and everything’s 20% off until midnight. I love the cleanser, face scrub, and primer.
I have been loving this face oil, too.
For the Kids
The girls’ witch kitty pajamas are on sale.
I’ve gotten a few questions about the girls swiftie PJs. They sold out but I got them here, so you can sign up for a restock notification, or new product updates. Their friendship bracelet pajamas are still available for preorder, too.
These are so, so soft, and Kate’s favorite animal. She’s been wearing them nonstop.
Is this not the cutest baby boy outfit?
File this under things you never thought I’d link to, but this rainbow puffer is so much fun.
