Weekend Reading #33
What's new this week, discount codes and links, and how this week went with 8 hours of childcare
I hope everyone’s having a nice weekend. I am ready for a break after a loooong week but I have three kids so what is a weekend anyway? It’s been a fun week. A USPS truck hits our gas line and you the fire department and gas company were here and dug a 5 foot hole in the ground to curb a possible explosion from happening and it felt pretty minor compared to what’s going on in the world.
Right after Estelle left, I called my sister and asked if she could fly in to cheer the girls up. Of course she said yes because she’s the best aunt ever. We surprised them after school, picked up stuff for our movie night, baked muffins, an are watching Wicked tonight since Jess has never seen it. We have some fun weekend plans, and she’s heading home Sunday afternoon.
I have a sitter coming right after she leaves so I can unplug for a bit, and then it’s back to the grind of trying to get things done while splitting watching Jack with my husband. This blog post happened, and this one, too! I also filmed 2 partnerships and got a few substack posts up. But I’m tired.
The girls and I went downtown to clinic since we still need to follow up with our oncology team every 4 months. We made a little adventure of it and had lunch at Summer House after, and by the time we got home, the gas leak had been repaired.
The highlight of my week was my 1:1 empowered coaching session with Destini Davis. I have followed her for a while now and absolutely love her, so when I got an email about her 1:1 sessions opening up again, I signed right up. It was worth every penny! She asked for feedback and my only note was wishing we had more time. We messaged a bit afterward and I was just like please sign me up for one more hour. We’re not done! I have a little more to share about our experience, but want to recap the rest of the week and some recent finds, too.

I did a big Merit restock and ordered a new minimalist stick, flush balm, highlighting balm, and am trying the beauty bronzer. If you need a good, simple, makeup routine, the 5 minute morning set is the best.
I can’t post my ceramic muffin pan without getting asked about it, and it’s sold out but this one is similar (and larger).
Use MOSSFS15 for 15% off and free shipping at EBY. The relief bra is my favorite but the new 3D Precision bra is pretty incredible, too. I’d recommend trying both! They go up to an 2XLDD and offer the best wireless support.
Use DANIELLEMOSS for 20% off Sakara. These meals have made my life a million times easier the last few weeks.
NEWA is having a sale for Valentine’s Day, and if you use DANIELLE15 you’ll get another 15% off. The NEWA device is a skincare must-have for 2025.
I just started using this retinol and this serum and am so excited about them. And I’m trying this firming and lifting moisturizer. If you build an INN beauty bundle, you’ll get 25% off!
How adorable is this cardigan? And this tee!
My girls’ wide-leg velour pants are back in a few colors.
And here are some BTS updates for my paid subscribers including a deeper dive into childcare and an SEO update, too.
