We have had a week over here. More dr. appointments (and emotional rollercoaster around that), walking pneumonia, we demolished 3 bathrooms, and our au pair just left for a week and a half. I feel like that isn’t even everything.

Oh, it’s not. 🙃 Someone hit our bumper while the car was parked and a rock cracked our windshield on the highway. But we’ve done harder things, and everything is (mostly) good. I’m going to share a little more about what’s going on for paid subscribers below.

We also took family photos with my friend Katie Kett and they turned out better than I could have hoped for. This is one of those times I wish I shared my kids online (but not really) because they’re just SO GOOD. If you’re in the Chicago area, I HIGHLY recommend the investment of photos with Katie. It was worth every penny.

If it feels too early for gift guides, just ignore this announcement until you’re ready. I wrapped up my 22 gift guides before our au pair left town for a week and a half and because I’m me, decided to put an additional 6 gift guides together. It always helps me to channel my anxiety into a project, so it’s been a nice distraction. I also worked out last week and this week, too which is HUGE for me.

I really kept budget in mind, so while there are some splurges, most gifts are priced under $50 and even $25. There are gifts for kids of every age group, in in-laws, co-workers, and even your favorite Swiftie. And the guide for teens was approved by multiple teens! I do have a few more guides I’d love to add since 1. I did a bunch of SEO research and it would probably be good for SEO 2. I really do enjoy putting these together.

You can shop all my gift guides here.

Here are some of this year’s new gift guides, but keep scrolling because there’s more below.

As you know, I’ve had an emotional few weeks, and have been struggling. This got me thinking about how we can better support one another, because so many of us feel alone in the hard things we’re going through. If you want to share what you’re struggling with here (literally anything! no problem is too big or too small) I’d love to weigh in, offer a hug, some friendly advice, or just listen if that’s what you need.

I also just launched my new Flagship store that I’m so excited about, and want to give you an early look here before I officially announce it in the coming weeks. And you can shop my discounted bundle with my favorite baking sheet, fry pan, and olive oil.

A reminder for paid subscribers: I’ll be sending out another package to one of you at random this week! I’ll share who it’s going to at the end of the month. What would you like me to add for next month?

And here’s a little bit more about what’s been going on, and the triggering almost hour-long appointment that I struggled through this week.
