I recently listened to a podcast on time poverty, something that the majority of us seem to struggle with. It’s impossible to do all the things we want to do. But we can shift the way we work, or what we do to fill our days with things that give us meaning and bring joy to our lives.
This podcast episode really helped shift things for me – we don’t need that much time, and if we shift time spent scrolling, we can find it. I am never going to be the wake up at 5AM to have that time kind of person – that is just not for me. Anxiety meds, ADHD meds, and letting go of the idea that the laundry has to be put away right away has helped a lot. I don’t have to do it all, and I’d rather do the things I love.
I’d like to share my experience switching the way I work, walking away from two partnerships (those experiences were night and day), and how I feel now.
