This week, linked
We aren’t fully in holiday mode yet. I have one tree up but not decorated and this artificial arrangement. But I have some holiday content to shoot and we love the holidays, so we’ll do the rest later this week and this weekend. If you have little kids, I shared some of my favorite felt Christmas ornaments.
I stayed up way too late getting some work done and watching Friends last night. It was a “full” day, and pretty productive, too. I had coffee with a local stylist to chat through a holiday collaboration, took Kate to swim (she’s almost done!), then had a parent-teacher conference, cleaned our swing set, held Jack for a nap, and squeezed work in-between all of that. And I’m volunteering in Margot’s class tomorrow then meeting a friend for coffee.
My days are what I wanted them to be like for so long – probably with a few more distractions – but I get to do something I really enjoy for work, and be there for my kids. It is my hope that coming up with more of a set schedule will help me feel less pulled in 20 different directions. More on my plan for that soon.
I went to the Lincoln Park Zoo with the girls and our au pair over the weekend. We met up with my friend Jess (Keys) and her daughter, and the kids were so cute together – lots of running. 🙃 Sunday was very lazy – we stayed in pajamas until noon and I got a little work done while the kids colored on boxes and watched a show. Conor took the girls out for a bit so I was able to have some time alone with Jack, which I wasn’t cleared to do until last week.
The girls’ tower tent is on sale and currently under $120!
Hanna Andersson is having a BIG sale – all pajamas are 50% off. Jack needed a few new pairs, so I ordered these, these, and these, too.
The girls’ dollhouse is back in stock would be a perfect holiday gift. But since Maileg now has wallpaper inside, I’d go with this one. Both are great options, and we use Maileg furniture and our mice with each one.
I ended up keeping this jacket but sized down to an XS. And I have been wearing this set nonstop (wearing it now).
The coloring book Margot and I have been coloring in together is almost 50% off, and I am really enjoying it, so much that I bought a second. It’s been a really nice part of our evening routine – something for just us after Kate goes to bed.
And speaking of Kate, she has been loving this felt tree.
Just signed a new contract with a brand and product I love and already own. It’s in the cleaning/organizing space so you know I’m into it.
