Happy Friday! It’s been a really good week, brought to you by the kids going back to school, and a fresh start in our new home. Packing and moving may not have been my favorite, but we are exponentially happier here. We knew our last house was stressful, but I didn’t expect it to feel this different. I have more to say about what almost broke us, and how we found our way back.
It was a little cool yesterday morning, and I just changed out my Pura fragrances for fall. As much as I love summer and warm weather, it got me a little excited for those crisp fall mornings and cozy nights by the fire. We have a few playdates planned this weekend, I’m hoping to go through some boxes in the basement, too.
I finished editing the last of the paid partnerships that my manager, Carly, brought me the week before our move. This one went live and I shared all the things you’ll see in my home as an overstimulated ADHD virgo mom, too. I’m just waiting on approval for a few others.
And I’m trying to really get back to posting here regularly, and need to work on my very neglected blog, too.

Our New Home
I shared some house updates yesterday, but have a few more for you today. My wallpaper is done and Kate’s ceiling has been painted to match the trim.
Margot’s wallpaper is halfway done and we set up her temporary (under $120) bed last night since her new bed won’t arrive for another month or two because 1. I wanted her to feel settled and 2. We need to protect her new mattress.
Jack’s wallpaper finally arrived! Kira and I want to paint the trim the darker blue in the stripe, and I’m going back and forth on whether or not we should actually do that. It’s dark, and he has 2 closets with double doors, so it would be a lot of dark blue. But I should do it, right?
