The Story I've Never Told

It’s not easy to talk about the ten months I lost — but almost 30 years later, I’m ready to share my story.

Apologies for the double post today, but it’s been almost almost 30 years, and I felt this push to share my story today. For most of my life, I’ve pretended this never happened because it’s too painful to think about. But I know that sharing experiences like this one can help others feel less alone.

This is one of the most painful and traumatic things that has ever happened to me — one that basically robbed me of 10 months of my life. And it’s time to share it.
