The Mental Load
What I'm in charge of, what I let go of, and how I manage the mental load as a working mom of 3.
It feels like every mom I talk to is feeling maxed out right now. Calendars are full, work is busy, and we have too many tabs open. Weekends went from brunches to kids’ activities and endless to-dos. There’s never really a moment to turn it off.
I am at the point where even the things I enjoy (like mahjong night) can feel like another thing to check off the list. Head down, get through it.
I want to talk about the mental load of being a mom, and the constant juggling act of being a working mom. About finding space for ourselves when it all feels like too much.
