The MDW Sales Worth Shopping This Weekend

Happy MDW and the (unofficial) start of summer! This week has been a weird blur. We got back from Sea Island and Kate had surgery a few days later. But our summer sitter started right after we got back so that’s been helpful. And our au pair comes in less than a month!
Margot is Harry Potter obsessed right now and has made it all the way through the fifth film, and is dying to watch #6 which I don’t really remember and need an update on. How much scarier do the last two get? She doesn’t scare easily at all and is loving them.
We’d usually spend this weekend at the pool, but Kate is recovering from surgery, so we’re going to have a nice weekend at home. She’s been cozy at home in bed with mom, watching a ton of Bluey, coloring (the girls are loving these books), and having endless popsicles. I usually buy the no sugar added Johnny Pops, Goodpops, and Deebees. We have a few organic ice cream bars, too. And ice cream. And I found dole whips 10 minutes from the house so we got those, too.
Recovery has been better than expected! Her throat isn’t bothering her at all so far, but the congestion and drippy nose had her up a lot at night, so she’s snoozing away now. I’m hoping that she’ll want to sit on the patio a little bit, and I’d love to do my planters since I decided to hold off until after our trip, but I don’t know if that’s happening.
