I hate focusing on numbers and don’t want anyone to feel like that’s what it’s about. It’s not about your weight or what size jeans you wear. My main concern was my health. I wanted to feel better in my clothes, too. I felt stuck.

In May 2022, I saw my doctor just months before getting pregnant with my third baby. I knew I wanted to have another baby and just wanted to see where I was at health-wise. She told me my BMI was fine even though I had some weight to lose, and that my cholesterol was high and we’d “watch it”.

I wanted to know more. I wanted to be “healthy”.

Flash forward to 6 months postpartum. I still had about 15 pounds to go to get to my pre-Jack weight (not to be confused with what I weighed before having kids). That’s a number I stopped caring about years ago. I had just turned 41 and have 3 kids to be healthier for, and wanted to check in on my cholesterol and my health.

I ended up seeing a doctor who has a private practice focusing on doing a deep dive into your health. She came recommended by a few people, and what we did completely changed my life.

This is highly personal so I’m going to save most of this information for my paid subscribers. But I will share with everyone that I am fasting, eating only between noon - 6pm. Of course there are off days, and I just adjust accordingly. She put me on metformin for insulin resistance, too. More on that and what else I took below.

I’ve also started AG1 (use my link for a 1 year supply of Vitamin D drops + 5 travel packs FREE with your first purchase!)
