Bonjour from Paris
What an experience this has been. This month (and this week in particular) always gets me. May 15 is the 4 year anniversary of the day Margot was diagnosed with Leukemia, so it’s impossible not to look at how far we’ve come. I don’t talk to her about this day because it we really don’t talk about treatment unless she brings it up, but it’s just incredible to see her in Paris. And seeing her face at the ERAS tour was one of the single greatest moments of my life.
To think that we were just a few days away from life feeling hopeless at this point in 2020 and for a long time after, and to be where we are now is nothing short of incredible. I do not take any of it for granted.
She loves Paris - we walked all over the city, rode carousels, sailed vintage toy boats in the Tuileries, and watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle.
I was just talking to another cancer mom friend about this, or to a few actually – and it really feels over. I talk about it to raise awareness, and because it made me a different person. I think about it because I’m just so grateful to be where we are.
I hope you’ll join me and host a lemonade stand next month to help make a difference for the 45 kids diagnosed with cancer every day. It’s a fun thing to do with your kids and teaches them about how we can work together to help others.

I want to share some of the most memorable moments from the trip - ones that didn’t make it to my Paris guide.
