10 Things #3
Sleep, habit tracking, my new phone and computer cases, and the best thing that's happened this year.
1. My therapist said she’d really like to see me go to bed by 10:30 at least twice a week and I did it! I set an alarm for 9PM, took two of these, and was ready for bed by 10PM a few nights this week. If you’re struggling, I can’t recommend these gummies enough.
2. I sort of fell off the wagon with taking my supplements (so bad, I know) and I am going to write something more in-depth about daily practices and ADHD because it’s so hard and I need to figure out some sort of a routine when the girls are back in school. I ordered this and am going to try the STREAKS app again. I used that to track Margot’s meds, not that I ever would have forgotten — but it helped me remember to track all her doses.
3. On to shopping. I did a big overhaul of my Amazon shop and updated my Shopbop hearts. Serena and Lily’s new fall collection and McGee’s Halloween collection both dropped this week. Getting a tiny bit excited for fall but not quite there yet.
4. I ordered my girls new bag charm kits last week and there’s now a wait list. If you’ll be buying a gift for a child age 4-12 in the coming months, I cannot recommend this enough.
5. One of my favorite gummy vitamin brands has a few new variations out. I really like the burn and tone vitamins and am excited to try the new ones. And I just ordered these vitamins for the girls.
6. I just realized that my favorite electrolytes (which came in a variety pack) come in a jar of my favorite flavor, and I got some electrolytes for the girls’ to take to school, too.
7. Burga sent me a new computer case, phone case, and magnetic ring holder and I LOVE them! They have the prettiest prints to choose from, and the computer case is so nice because I can now throw my computer in a bag without having to put it in a case. And the magnetic ring is awesome. No more dropping my phone. And then I realized how dirty my computer was and used alcohol wipes to clean it, and it made a huuuuge difference!
8. I joined the club. I’m turning 43 next month so it was only a matter of time.
9. Minnow is having a big sale! It’s a great time to grab a swimsuit or two. A lot of pieces are selling out but this set is in stock in almost every size. Margot has been wearing this dress a lot this summer.
10. I’ve never been a Swiftie for the announcement of a new album and I’ve been on a high this week. This is the first time I’ve watched a podcast episode vs. listening and I loved every moment. I never understood why someone would watch a podcast episode until now. We needed this!
It all started because I watched The Eras Tour with my girls at the end of 2023. So to see all the Easter eggs that got us here, and to be a part of it—this is the joy I so desperately needed this year. I was at Eras for the debut of TTPD but it was so different then. I liked her music, but that trip was for my daughter, and it changed everything. It was the best night of my life standing there with my cancer survivor because it really had been a long time coming to be able to make her dream come true. It was us living in the biggest way in Paris! I was all in, so much that I flew to London to see her again a few months later.
Sharing Taylor Swift with Margot is so special! We are huge Swifties in our house too! Also, I have been thinking about the weighted vest…not sure how many lbs to get!
There are so many typos in this post. I’ve noticed it in past posts too.
